It’s A Girl – Baby Yarosh!!
!!It's A Girl!!
Today was the day that we found out. The Yarosh's went to the hospital today and had the doctors put the sex of the new baby into a manila envelope. Everybody was so excited for them all day and calling to beg them to open it early. But they resolved to open it up together with Cade as a family that night.
And…
It's A Girl!!
They called us and we all gathered around the phone. Uncle Cary asked us all to weigh in with our thoughts on what we thought it might be. Daddy said "Boy". Momy said "Boy". GMAC said "Boy". And Grace was the one stand-out with "Giiirl".
Grace was right! When they said "Girl" over the phone, Grace jumped up and down, "Gir, girl, girl", "I win, I win". She was happy to have another little girl. GMAC cried and said he wanted a boy, but I know that soon enough he was be excited as we all are now, with the new Baby Yarosh Girl who is on her way!!
GMAC and Grace at Comerosa
GMAC and Grace stayed with EE and GP at Comerosa on Saturday and most of Sunday. They all went to Patrick's and Karen's joint Birthday Party!
GMAC on Bike with Training Wheels
Jenny spent some good times with the kids this weekend and had a playdate with Willie at Cora Lee's house.
On Sunday, Daddy encouraged GMAC to ride the bike with training wheels on it, that was given to us a few weeks ago. He had previously only rode the bike the length of half of the living room, maybe 5 feet. But today, I had him do a lap around the fireplace from the living room around to the den and back. Trying to get him to do 5 laps and thinking that would be it. However, he insisted on 100 laps, almost unthinkable, but he upped the ante and said 113!! Mommy, Daddy, and Grace cheered him on as he got to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, he is half way there!! 60, 70, he started getting tired and his interest was waning as Grace and Mommy played with Legos on the floor. At this point he questioned his devotion to his goal, but we helped him keep his eyes on the prize. M&M's were employed as a motivator as he could get one upon the successful completion of each lap. However, by 80, he said "I changed my mind, I don't want to ride anymore". At 90, "It is boring", but we amped up the excitement enough to get him on the final 10 laps. 100!!
We celebrated with a party, just like Mommy's race, the Rock and Roll Marathon in San Antonio, complete with a CD of Motley Crue karoke with Daddy. GMAC gladly gave some victory laps for the final 13, 113 in total! Mission accomplished!!!
In the afternoon, we all went up to the Westgate Lanes Bowling ally by our neighborhood. EE, GP, and Cade And Brittney, and Cary joined us as well. Grace, even though bowling was her idea. We all did very well today, Mommy, Daddy, GMAC rolled the especially well today, much harder and faster then the 2.8 avg. mph that he did last time. Cade was a good listener and took Uncle Matt's instructions on putting the 6lb. ball between his legs and giving it a good heave-ho shove down the lane.
After naptime, GMAC awoke early, and as planned after the big race, we went to go ride bikes outside. Either up or down the street, we decided to go up the slight hill then onto the flatter part of Redleaf Lane. With a little push start we were on our way. Thinking we could just get as far as his buddy Owen's house at the end of the street. We encountered a street gang of kids and GMAC was excited to continue on. It was a struggle to keep him near the curb and out of the middle of the street. Although there was not much traffic on this very brisk Sunday afternoon, so we were lucky in that respect. Daddy riding his 80's freestyle bike, jumped one of the road humps. And GMAC had to follow suit. Up the hump, then down, oops he fell down. I told him to dusty himself off and get back up and get back in the saddle, which he did without crying or anything. Down the hill and one other nasty spill, but he took me literally and did exactly as I said about dusting himself off. We rounded the corner and with a little guidance made it all the way to Granny's house!! He was so proud of himself and sat on his bike at her front door awaiting the positive affirmation, but they were not home. GMAC wanted to ride back home, so we did, the entire way back on the sidewalks! After warming up at home, we went back out side and did another block. He is now begging Daddy to take off his training wheels, keep it up kid and we can remove them soon!
Comerosa Kids Weekend and Super Bowl
Mom picked up GMAC and Grace on Friday and took them up to Comerosa to spend the night. After buying the traditional Pizza, Pizza, of which Grace was excited about, but GMAC was just interested in Chicken Nuggets. Mom told me that she awoke in the night, on the couch, being shoved off of the bed by GMAC, Dad bear snoring while hugging Grace. GMAC was saying "Jack took my spot" over and over again. She ran to the bed and Jack, the dog, had come up from his burrows under the covers to sleep on the pillow, the spot where GMAC usually sleeps. GMAC was not happy about this and Jack was sent to his bed on the floor.
It was sad to find out that Shelby dog went to Doggie heaven today. Everybody is very sad to see such a great dog go.
Sunday, after Church, Mommy and Daddy donated blood to the Central Texas Blood Bank, as they parked the colorful bus at the Oak Hill United Methodist Church. The kids loved it because they got to eat all of the cookies, snacks, and fruit punch normally reserved for the weary patients.
Then we took GMAC and Grace to a Super Bowl Party at Paul and Amy's house, as their last party before they move. It was a great party, great food, brisket and fresh wild pork. Unfortunately we had to leave early. But when we got home, GMAC stayed up late with Daddy and finished watching the big football game. It was a great day.

3 Hours a Month for $90 Website, Web Design, Web Development, and Mostly Website Maintenance Plan
I am very quick and efficient at what I do. I key the keyboard like the a rock star can finger the fretboard of a guitar, I type fast and think faster! My hourly rate is typically $60, but it can vary by type of job. When I charge, I only charge for the exact time that I put into work. If I work 5 minutes, I charge for 5 minutes. No rounding up, I actually round down to help out the client. No minimum time to work.
Cade’s 3rd Birthday Party
This weekend was full of new surprises and happenings for the Comers. There is a lot in the works right now and we are all busy little bees. More news coming soon.
Saturday was the big day. Cade's 3rd Birthday Party at Harry and Ellen Yarosh's beautiful home! We got there a little late, but as soon as we did, there was Mr. Cade going tee tee in the front yard. He was very excited to see the very happy GMAC, but very distraught Grace. The kids took to running around the party, chasing each other and being wild. Just being kids and having a great time. It was nice to visit with all of the family that gathered for the big day. But none as much as seeing the smile on Cade's little face as he was about to blow out all 3 of his candles.
The rest of the day was spent wrapping some business up together as a family, then off to Costco which has become the norm. All in all it was a great weekend and good things to come.
Precision Inspection Photoshoot
Performed a photography session scheduled photoshoot this afternoon with Scott Freeze for Precision Inspection in Austin.
Mr. Freeze was performing a home inspection on a house, so I snapped some shots and added to the site.
Jumpy Place Weekend
Well, not too much happened this weekend. Although, Jenny, GMAC and Grace met some friends at the Jumpy Place in Kyle. They all reportedly had a jumping good time!
Mommy and Daddy have been very busy working on some things for the family.
GMAC said something to Daddy this week when he was putting him down for bed. The conversation went something like this.
GMAC – "In Hot Lava."
Daddy – "In Hot Lava? How do you know about Hot Lava?"
GMAC – "Breck say that. Hot Laba. Hot Laba."
Daddy – "It's Lava, Honey. Not Laba. LaVVVVa, not LaBBBBa. VVVV, not BBBB, Hot Lava. Daddy knows all about Hot Lava."
GMAC – "And Everything!"
Daddy – "Everything?"
GMAC – "You know about everything. You are the best Daddy in the world."
OMG, my heart sank and I couldn't help but tear up. And told him that this was the sweetest thing he could have ever told me.
He ended up saying it 4 more times and that "Yoda was the Best Yoda in the World", but I was still the proudest Daddy in the world!!
